Who can join Ville on the Hill?
Membership is open to residents 50 and older who live within the boundaries of our service area. The service area loosely replicates the boundaries of the Hilltop area, Columbus, Ohio. That area is south of Highway 70, north of Clime Road, east of Highway 270 and west of Central Avenue.
Can a Village exist if there's already a community or senior center?
Yes! In fact, most villages exist in an area where these centers are also in place. The strength of a Village is that it is designed to meet the evolving needs identified by residents that are otherwise unmet.
What is my investment to belong to Ville on the Hill?
Ville on the Hill members invest $5/month ($60/year) for an individual, or $10/month ($120/year) for a couple. Free and reduced memberships are available to those in need.
Why is there a membership fee?
Your fee, combined with outside grants, supports coordination of services, as well as most of the events and activities we host.
I don't think Ville on the Hill is right for me.
That's OK! If things change, we will be here as an additional resource as you age in our service area.
How many members are in the Village?
More every day! Villages that have been around for years have hundreds of members - but it takes time. The more friends you invite to join us, the faster we will grow.
